DOGS WELCOME
St Ives Christmas Market returns to Polmanter for another year of local makers, festive food and family fun, and this year Santa’s joining us too.
The market takes place at The Stable Bar and Restaurant, Polmanter Touring Park, Halsetown, St Ives TR26 3LX, on Saturday 28th November (10am to 6pm) and Sunday 29th November 2026 (10am to 4pm). Entry and parking are free, and dogs are welcome. Santa’s grotto is new this year at £10 per child, and booking is required.
Here’s what you’ll find…
Local makers
Our Christmas Market is all about community spirit. You’ll find a wonderful mix of local makers and creators showcasing their handmade crafts, unique gifts, and festive treats. From cosy candles to beautiful artwork, tasty goodies to one-of-a-kind decorations – it’s the perfect place to discover something special while supporting local talent.
Festive food & drink
The Stable Bar will be open all day serving hot and cold drinks, with plenty of festive favourites to keep you cosy – from mulled wine and cider to indulgent hot chocolates. Alongside sweet treats to nibble on, you’ll also find a street-food style menu with seasonal twists on classics.
Family friendly
Our Christmas Market is designed with families in mind, and little ones are very welcome! Alongside our dedicated Santa & Soft Play experience, our indoor soft play will also be open throughout the market, so you’re welcome to bring the children along to play even if you’re not booking a Santa visit. Soft play is £5 per child, with some festive crafts and activities to keep little hands busy too. If the weather’s kind, there’s also plenty of fun to be had in our outdoor play areas.
As we expect the market to be busy, we’d recommend using a baby carrier if you have one, as buggy parking space will be limited. Buggies are, of course, still welcome – we just ask that you bear in mind there may not be much room to park them. Baby changing facilities are also available.
Santa’s Grotto
New for this year, we’re pleased to be adding a Santa’s Grotto to the market to make the visit for children even more magical. For £10 per child, little ones can enjoy a special 10-minute visit with Santa, with up to four children per session, including a small gift to take home.
Each Santa booking also includes an hour of indoor soft play, giving little ones plenty of time to burn off some festive energy while grown-ups enjoy a wander around the market. Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance, with a donation from every booking going to Penhaligon’s Friends, supporting bereaved children and families across Cornwall.
