Our Christmas Market is all about community spirit. You’ll find a wonderful mix of local makers and creators showcasing their handmade crafts, unique gifts, and festive treats. From cosy candles to beautiful artwork, tasty goodies to one-of-a-kind decorations – it’s the perfect place to discover something special while supporting local talent.

Festive food and drink

The Stable Bar will be open all day serving hot and cold drinks, with plenty of festive favourites to keep you cosy – from mulled wine and cider to indulgent hot chocolates. Alongside sweet treats to nibble on, you’ll also find a street-food style menu with seasonal twists on classics.

Our Christmas Market is designed with everyone in mind – little ones included! Children can enjoy our indoor soft play area while you take a stroll around the stalls. Why not bring a partner or friend and take turns browsing in peace while the kids play? The soft play is £5 per child, and if the weather’s kind, there’s also plenty of fun to be had in our outdoor play areas too.

She Sells Succulents - Gorgeous succulents, homegrown on The Lizard, and unique coloured concrete pots.
Moobells Jewellery - Debbie, creator of Moobells Jewellery, designs and handcrafts each piece in her home workshop in Cornwall.
Smashing Glass by Katie - Katie creates handpainted homeware & gifts that celebrate the beauty of nature.
Colour Pop - Fun, colourful earrings and necklaces. A pop of colour to make you smile and brighten your day!
Hand crafted sewn items using free motion embroidery. All items are unique and designed and sewn by Andrea.
TB Pottery - "After almost 40 years as a builder, I decided it was about time to have a change of direction but still be creative."
Carn Margh Creations - Rustic creations made of wool from Jacob sheep in Halsetown, and also from other local flocks, to produce clothing, bags, decorations, cushions, rugs and felted soaps. All items are knitted, felted or woven.
The Cornish Chocolate Co. - The Cornish Chocolate Company is an award-winning artisan chocolatier, born from a love of chocolate, Cornwall, and the joy of creating something truly special.
Mor Kreftow - Nicky and Kirsten collect sea glass and driftwood off Cornish beaches and make unique pictures and decorations.
Castaway Ropeworks - Handmade products using the dying art of ropework and splicing skills. They make their items out of Ghost Gear, sourced from the beaches in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly as well as using donated rope retrieved from local fishermen
Kernow Candles - Handmade candles (4oz), natural soya wax & fragranced with essential oils, black & gold tins in keeping with the Cornish connection.
The Rescued Bee - "We sell our honey and hive products, all made with care from responsibly rehomed bees."
Cornwall's only commercial herd of British Saanen goats, producing high-quality artisan dairy products.
Penstone Art - Sophie paints impressionistic watercolour landscapes with an instinctive, colourful and fluid style.
So Much Glass - Sue is a fused glass artist inspired by nature, especially flowers.
Sea of Coffee - Bringing festive cheer with the perfect gifts for coffee lovers and foodies alike.
The Little Soap Shed - "We’re a multi award-winning artisan soap and skincare company, hand crafted in Cornwall"
And In Stitches - Hand crafted sewn items using free motion embroidery. All items are unique and designed and sewn by Andrea.
Lucie Harris Glass - "Included in my homeware range are handmade glass hearts, fish and hanging decorations. I create dishes and bowls where I fuse copper and silver in between the glass. In the festive season | make Christmas tree hanging decorations."
Marianna Baxter Ceramics - "Based in the Lizard, I work exclusively with porcelain, creating unique, one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces."

Is St Ives Christmas Market at Polmanter free to attend?

Yes, entry to the market and parking are free.

A visit to Santa, which includes access to our indoor soft play area, needs to be booked in advance, and limited slots are available.

A visit to our indoor soft play a on its own can be booked on the day, subject to availability, at £5 per child.

Are dogs allowed at the market?

Yes, well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome throughout the market and Stable Bar.

For hygiene reasons, we do not allow dogs stay in the indoor soft play area.

What happens if it rains?

The market is entirely indoors, aside from the short walk from the car park.

Stalls, food and drink are all within The Stable Bar and Restaurant, so a bit of rain won’t spoil your visit!

Where exactly is Polmanter, and how do I find it?

The market takes place at The Stable Bar and Restaurant, on site at Polmanter Touring Park.
The address is Halsetown, St Ives, TR26 3LX, around 5 minutes from St Ives town centre by car, with free parking on site.

Is the market accessible?

Yes — we have accessible parking closer to the venue, and level access throughout The Stable Bar and Restaurant, with an accessible toilet and baby changing also on site. The one exception is Santa’s grotto, which is upstairs.
