How to Use Our EV Chargers at Polmanter

We want charging your electric vehicle while staying with us to be easy!

We’ve created this simple photo guide to walk you through each step, so you can get plugged in and back to relaxing as quickly as possible.

We have four dedicated EV charging spaces located behind Reception, equipped with 2 Monta chargers capable of delivering up to 22kW.

  • Charging cost: 50p per kWh

To start charging:

  1. Plug in your cable to the car and charger
  2. Scan the QR code on the charger with your phone camera or QR reader app
  3. Follow instructions to make payment and start charging

OR

If you have downloaded the Monta Charge app (iPhone | android)

  1. Plug in your cable to the car and charger
  2. Open the Monta charge app
  3. Press the QR icon on the right side of the app
  4. Tap ‘Take a picture of QR’ and scan the QR code on the charger
  5. Follow instructions to make payment and start charging

 

To stop charging:

  1. Tap ‘Stop Charging’ in the Monta app
  2. Disconnect the cable from your car first
  3. Next disconnect the cable from the charger

Please note – It is important to cancel the charge/release the cable from the car first – this will allow the charger to release your cable.
