With 50 years of experience across 3 generations of our family at Polmanter, we know a lot about camping, but we’re always glad to hear from our guests.
We love to hear what you think…
From chats across your pitch, in reception or at the Stable Bar, to emails, or online reviews, we love hearing from you.
Hearing what guests love and want more of; and what could be even better, has helped to shape our business for over 50 years, from farming fields to the established holiday park we enjoy today.
Talk to us…
It helps us to hear your thoughts early – especially if it’s something we can address and improve on right away. When you’re staying on site, our reception team are on hand throughout the day, in person, by phone (01736 795640) and email on [email protected]. During the evening and overnight our wardens take over.
Ideas and suggestions on more long-term improvements can be shared with staff while you’re on site, or emailed to [email protected]
Previous requests we’ve acted on have included;
- more play equipment for children of various ages – including indoors
- longer opening times and season for the site shop
- improvements to the WiFi
- an outside shower for sandy wetsuits and muddy pups
- a later departure time of 11am on your final day
- increased temperature for the swimming pool, and many more!
We’ve not stopped this winter either! Our latest ‘lockdown’ projects have included new equipment for the junior playground, a smart oak-framed bus shelter, our Stable Bar renovation, and addition of a 3rd self-catered holiday property at the entrance to the site.

Invaluable feedback for the 2020 season
Your feedback has been more important than ever since re-opening on the 4th July 2020.
We understand holidaying during a national pandemic can be worrying, especially for the first guests through the door, as no-one knew what to expect as the new norm. We worked extremely hard on our COVID-19 precautions prior to opening and continue to do so on a daily basis to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.
We’re happy with how everything is operating across the site and have received many reassurances from guests following their visits. This feedback is invaluable to us and really does give the team a morale boost following all the extra effort put in…
“We were one of the first tourers to arrive after lockdown and what a lovely welcome we received from the team. The site is spotless and the pitches are a very generous size. Lovely to see even our fur babies were catered for with poo bags left at the side of bins for those that are caught short, a dog wash and plenty of dog walks on and off the lead. We are definitely returning in the near future. Thank you for making my much needed break so great after working non-stop through this Covid pandemic 😎”

“I was a bit apprehensive of the current Covid -19 situation but after being at Polmanter and seeing the precautions that were in place on the site, I would recommend this place to everyone. The staff have gone above and beyond to make this a safe environment for us all to enjoy our holidays. There is hand sanitiser in place before entering the toilets, showers, shop and the restaurant, with the one-way systems working well. The staff are continuously cleaning and sanitising all touch points. This is a huge task and they are still friendly and helpful at all times. Well a huge thank you to all the staff at Polmanter for giving me a lovely, beautiful, safe holiday in these unsettled times.”
