Kids love to play at Polmanter!
We are glad to welcome non-residents to use the indoor and outdoor play areas when the site or Stable Bar is open, outside of the May half-term and summer holiday weeks* when regretfully the park is too busy to accommodate non-residents.
What’s available…
Our indoor play area is a great hit with younger visitors. The soft play frame is designed predominantly for under 10s with a fun ocean theme, plus a clever rotating climbing wall for bigger kids, your little ones will have a wonderful time climbing, sliding, jumping and spinning while you enjoy a drink or a cuppa from the adjacent bar and restaurant. Your busy bees will still need supervision, so we’ve made sure there are chairs and tables for you in the indoor play room. Perfect for rainy day entertainment.
We also have 2 outdoor play areas at Polmanter: one for younger children, and another for older daredevils. The first one is a lovely space for littlies to explore, with a camper van, tractor and pirate ship among other toddler-friendly delights. The second play area was completed in 2023, and includes a zip wire and funky stainless steel and wooden pods to fire imaginations and burn off energy.
Before you visit…
Non-residents – Please call ahead to check opening times and availability with our reception team.
Please note: the indoor soft play will close on Saturday 1st November, at the end of the touring park season, and reopen in March 2026.
Our facilities are sometimes reserved for private events – like birthday parties, weddings, or other functions (especially at weekends out of the main camping season) – it’s not always guaranteed that the venue will be open to the public. We also occasionally close for maintenance too, so it’s always best to check ahead to avoid a wasted journey.
If you’re thinking of visiting on a Sunday, especially while Sunday Roast is being served, and won’t be dining, please mention this when you call. Sundays are often very busy, and there may not be a table available in the restaurant to use for seating. We’ll always do our best to accommodate you, but space can be limited.
When you arrive…
For non-residents, please park in the Reception car park – during peak times, you may be directed to the Overflow car park. On arrival, check in at Reception with your car registration and the number and ages of any children. Visits are limited to a maximum of 4 hours.
There is a £5 fee per child aged 2 and over, but this can be redeemed against a meal greater than £5 in The Stable Bar during your visit (T+Cs apply).
Visit The Stable Bar and Restaurant page for more information about our menus and opening times.
If the restaurant is closed, the fee is non-refundable, so please contact us for up to date opening times before your visit.
Birthday party hire…
Our indoor soft play area is available to hire for birthday parties from April to June and September to October, with some flexibility at other times too. It’s a great space for little ones to play, explore, and celebrate with friends.
We offer a party package that includes 1.5 hours of exclusive use, buffet-style party food, ice cream for dessert and unlimited squash.
Parties must be booked in advance, and are usually held from 3pm onwards, though earlier times may be available on request. There’s plenty of parking, accessible toilets, and baby changing facilities on site, and adults can purchase drinks from The Stable Bar during the party.
Parties must be booked in advance, and are usually held after school during the week or from 3pm onwards on Saturdays – earlier time slots may be available on request. We don’t offer party bookings on Sundays.

* We are regretfully unable to accommodate non-residents during May half term (Fri 22nd – Sat 3oth May 2026) and the school summer holidays (Sat 18th July – Sat 29th August 2026), as the holiday park is too busy at this time. The Stable Bar and indoor play area will also close for a period during the winter months.
