👕 Washing Machines – Step by Step

1. Check the machine is powered on (display should be lit).

2. Load your clothes, along with detergent and softener

   Please note the labels on the drawer for detergent and softener to ensure that these are dispensed at the correct time in the cycle

3. Note your machine number, then head to the card reader.

4. On the card reader, select your machine number. The display will show the price.

5. Tap your card or device to pay.

6. Return to your machine, choose your wash cycle, and press Start.

🔄 Tumble Dryers – Step by Step

1. Check the machine is powered on (display should be lit).

2. Load your clothes and shut the door.

3. Note your dryer number, then go to the card reader below.

4. On the reader, select your dryer number. The display will show the price per 15-minute session.

5. Tap your card/device to pay. You can increase the drying time by repeating the process to pay for further 15 min sessions, and you’ll see the time on the machine increase with each payment.

6. Return to the dryer, select your preferred temperature, and press Start.

💡 A standard load usually takes 30–45 minutes. You can add extra time during the drying cycle if needed.

🛠️ Troubleshooting & Tips

• Payment declined?
  Some cards may require a PIN after multiple contactless payments. Try using a different card, or make a chip-and-pin payment elsewhere and try again.

• Error code ‘dL’?
  Check the door is closed securely. This is a door lock error.

🧼 Laundry Room Etiquette

• ⏱️ Please return to your machine promptly to allow others to use it.

• 🧺 If a machine has finished and the user hasn’t returned, you may gently empty the contents into the baskets provided and place them on top of the machine.

• 🐕 No dogs allowed in the laundry room. Please use the tethering point outside.

• 🚫 Please do not wash or dry pet bedding in the machines.
