Eat and drink at Polmanter

Our food is locally-sourced whenever possible. We’re so lucky to have such fantastic produce in West Cornwall – look out for local meats, sausages, and freshly-landed fish. We also have a range of Cornish beverages, ranging from St Ives beer to Penzance gin!

It’s really important that everyone can enjoy eating at Polmanter. If you have any dietary requirements, please just let us know. Likewise, if any of your party has any sensory issues, tell us, and we’ll make sure that the food is right and that your table is set up as you’d like it.

The Stable Bar offers a wide range of thirst-quenching drinks, including a great selection of Cornish refreshments along with many favourites. Find a sunny spot on our patio with a chilled pint of Offshore, put your feet up and take that view in – you’re on holiday! Gin’s popularity is still booming so we also have an extensive offering of local and classic gins waiting to be sampled! Plus our extensive wine list has plenty of options for a glass of wine over lunch or dinner. If you’re taking your drinks to the pool area, please remember to ask for a plastic cup.

Need a wake-me-up in the morning? Stop by for a freshly made coffee. If it’s the afternoon, why not treat yourself to tea and cake!

If you want to stay relaxing on your pitch, but don’t fancy slaving over a hot gas ring, pop across to The Stable Bar and order a take away.

We have a range of delicious take away meals, available to order directly from the bar, every evening during the main season (opening times vary depending on the time of year).

A freshly-baked pizza, eaten with your fingers as you watch the sun set over the hills? The perfect end to a busy holiday day.

Younger diners deserve great food too, and our children’s menu also has a great range of home-cooked food. However, we appreciate that kids can have some pretty definite tastes, so please let us know if there’s anything you’d like changing, and we’ll see what we can do.

There’s an indoor play area next to the restaurant. Please accompany your little climbers – and you’re welcome to take your drink in with you (though please ask bar staff for a plastic glass).

PLEASE NOTE – Soft play is available to all residents on site and for guests dining with us. If you are not staying on site or dining with us, a charge of £5 per child applies. This is redeemable against food should your plans change and you decide to eat. For visits to soft play only, please call ahead to check availability.

During the peak summer season, we have entertainment a few nights a week in the bar. As a small family-run site, we don’t offer the full entertainment programme of some larger parks, but many of our guests say that’s why they love us!

Relax with a drink while your kids are captivated by the weekly children’s party, join in with the weekly Bingo and Quiz nights or sit back and enjoy our live music sessions from local musicians. We like to keep a few nights entertainment-free for those who enjoy a more low-key evening.

All our guests are given a programme when they arrive at Polmanter.

We aim to open 5-nights a week from Easter, building the days and hours that the bar and restaurant is open as the site gets busier, up to all day opening.
